Hi there,
I know other people are having the same problem...but I wish someone out there can help us.

I must have goblins in my Samsung. It will absolutely not synch properly to my G4. I have Mac OS10.2.8 .....768MB.... 120 Gig of Hard Drive.

I have a been a Palm user for years, a Mac user for years and would love for this little Samsung i500 to work....but it has been incredibly frustrating

I have downloaded Palm 4.1 on my Desktop, I have disabled photos and voice memo in the conduit settings.

Everytime I try to Hot synch it goes through the entire data hot synch process and it looks like it will be just fine. Then at the end after the clean up it says I must reset. When I do, I get a fatal error and nothing is working properly.

The calendar is where the addresses should be and any buttom pushed other than that says fatal error... you must reset. HELP please.

Carol

You need to give up the Palm software on your G4 to make it work.. I have mine synch'd using iCal with the exception of the time is not mapping correctly on the i500.

Use .MAC, latest iSync, and latest iCal. Add your i500 as a new device with isync. You will need the Hotsych Palm (mac/os) and the transport monitor which is an add-on with isync. It seems to work ok. I had to export, import my Palm addresses to Address Book via vcard format. iCal and Address Book are my main Mac contact and planner software instead of Palm..

Everything works, I love the phone, however if you figure out how to make the time sync correctly for the i500... let me know..

Turn off the phone radio section...

Mine syncs perfectly as long as the phone is shut off..

Don't know why, but it works and is easy...
