I own a few first generation Icecube Firewire-1-enclosures and need bigger harddisks.

The harddisks already in the icecubes are Western Digital 120 Gig WD120JB, because I was told the oxford 911 chipset doesn't support bigger/newer drives. Now someone is offering 200 Gb Maxtor disks, and I am wondering if it works. he lives pretty far away but the price is right (150$ a piece, sealed, in holland and he only has 3).

Think my firewire enclosure accepts the 200 gb's? I hope someone already tried it and can share the experience.

(I like icecubes because they work with 5$ 12v car-adapters)
