What a weird topic eh? Basically what I want to know is if this will work:
My father uses Windows XP and a 20gig 2G iPod. Musicmatch was messing up and so we tried iTunes for win. It is giving us amazing problems, importing wrong, freezing etc. So my plan is this, reformatt his pod for Mac and bring my iMac to his house for use with it. I sync my 5Gig ipod to this Mac as well. My plan is to use a firewire connection (does this work?) or LAN connection (w/ router?) to move his huge music library to my Mac. Then I would leave my Mac at his house and both sync from it. Will this work?
Part 2, if I buy Panther, can we each have a user name and seperate libraries for our respective Pods? Can we move songs between the libraries? So That we can only add music to eachother's iTunes if we want to? I don't know much about the multiple user names on Panther to know if this is possible.
ANy info would be appreciated!
