Any Way To Record TV With Formac TVR Without Static?

Owners, you know the static on the very top part of the screen that's not normally seen on a conventional TV.

Any suggestions?

You could chop off the top few pixels. Lucky I use formac to play the stuff back on a TV and the tv cuts the very top off, hence I don't see it on the TV...

This may be over the top - but QT movies allow masking - so you could add a mask to obscure the TeleText info.

It would be irritating to have to do this for every movie though.

I could possibly set up Cleaner to do that. I already encode my movies with 3ivx.
