Does anyone else have this problem with an unoficially supported drive in finder?

I'm using an LG4320B in a beige panther, with the hacked driver from xlr8yourmac.com itunes works fine.

Files under about 300mb burn fine, but larger files get half way through then out pops an unusable disk and an error message simply saying burning failed.

Thanks.
