I did a search but didn't come up with anything. Anyone have an idea on how to import video into my Ibook? I used to use an iRez Capture (PC Card & then USB) with my old pismo, but I'd like something to import right into my ibook, plus the irez seems to drop frames & the result is a slightly less than professional look to the finished video. I think Dazzle used to make a device that would work, but it appears as though thtey've been bought out by pinnacle & I don't see anything about macs in their support section. I'd like a Firewire or USB 2 solution if available.

Any DV cam with analogue in should work.

Thanks, I didn't know that DV cams came with input jacks. I'll head over to circuit city this afternoon.

Is this a one-time thing? Maybe you could borrow a friend's DV cam for a few days so you don't have to buy one. Not all DV cams have the inputs, but I think most do now.

I can probably borrow one, but I just saw on the apple store that they have one with Analog in ports for $400. It's probably worth laying out the cash to pick one up at that price.
