Hi there

I wonder what my chaces are of getting my Canon Lide 30 scanner to work under Panther? I'm rather hoping that, if it does work, the sleep problems will have vanished too.

Is there some list somewhere detailing popular peripherals and compatibility info for Panther?

My LiDE 30 works under Panther. I use the photoshop plugin normally, but I have tried the Canoscan Toolbox X and that works as well. Though I do not use, and never have, the buttons on the front of the scanner.

Great. Thanks Spud.

I don't use the buttons either and, infact, their drivers are the main source of disruption with the Mac's sleep.

Happy scanning...

I use the same as littlegreenspud...

Works great. Deleted those button monitor routines in the startup items!
