The new Nokia 6230 GSM phone supports AAC. I wonder if iTunes encoded music will work with it. My guess is no, since there are multiple flavours of AAC, and Apple's flavour hasn't been the one traditionally supported by 3rd party hardware OEMs.

It'd be a bonus if it did support Apple's AAC though, since the Nokia 6230 is #1 on my list for a new phone. (#2 is the Sony Ericsson T630.) But as long as BlueTooth syncing with OS X is supported, I'll be happy.

Meh, that is what iPods are for. I don't need to fit two songs on my phone.
BTW, have you benchmarked it yet?

That's the very reason I switched from Nokia to SE. I hope Nokia gets it's act together soon and provides some OS X support. I e-mailed them about this particular issue a few days (a week maybe) ago, haven't received a response. BTW the 6230 does look like a nice phone, especially if the covers could be changed to make it more Mac like (ie. like the T630).

I wonder how bad the battery life is on that thing.
