Hey everyone, I did a quick search and couldn't find anything...Apologies if this has been discussed (i thought it would have been)
Anyway, I was just wondering what everyone thinks of the possibility of updated pods at Macworld....I am about to buy a 20GB but my only concern is the battery issues.
I thought that they may place higher quality batteries in the iPod if they updated it?....that's my sole concern...I loved my 2nd gen iPod and can't wait to get my next one!

I was wondering the same... I'm thinking about a Christmas gift, but MacWorld is only about two weeks after Christmas.

I have learned that if I don't buy an Apple product when it's first released, then wait until it's updated--which will happen, usually sooner than later. I want a new iPod too, but I think I'll wait a few more months to see what Apple and Griffin (iPod voice recorder & card reader rumored) are working on.

Rumored? These have been released already.
If I were in the market for an iPod, I'd wait until at least after MWSF. But that's just me.

Aren't the current ones made by Belkin?

Yes, they are. Griffin, who has better designs IMHO, is rumored to have a voice recorder that is higher quality and has a mic/aux input, among other things. I can't find the link to the card reader rumor right now.
