I was just wondering is it possible to daisychain a La Cie D2 CD Writer (52 Speed R) and a La Cie D2 120 GB HD to a 800 Mhz iBook, without there being problems with burnt CDs?
There are 2x firwire ports on the back of both the CD writer and the Hard Drive.

While I do not have an iBook, but a G4 tower, I have on one FW400 bus, 1 DVD-R/RW, 1 DVD-ROM, and 1 120GB drive. All work without a problem. Hope this helps.
