Looks good but it's a bit too big. Reduce the size a bit and they'll have a winner.

Boy, we all know how much videocassette Walkmans took over and how portable DVD players just decimated the portable audio scene... NOT!

This product assumes that lots of people want portable video. They don't. Well maybe in Japan they do. But Europeans don't like TV the way we do, and Americans drive everywhere -- it's illegal to watch TV while driving here. (In Japan, they sell cars with TVs in the dash.)

I would love to see an iPod-esque thin and light hard drive music/media player from Sony, but this isn't it. It weighs 300g, almost double the iPod's 158g, and the design is pretty brick-like. Before getting my iPod, I used a NW-E3 mp3 player for two years and loved its sleek design and nice sound quality.

Unit in hand:

is this sony thing out. Looks awesome the features it can do. Every thing a ipod needs but the video on the screen. If you can watch videos from the ipod take it wany where and use a OLED screen that will last for 4 years+ that would be awesome.

How much for the sony toy.
