Hey guys,

I'm looking for a case that will allow me to put the iPod in the dock, with the case on, but I'm not sure if this means I have to buy another cable or whether or not I can just slip it in, is there such a cable as a dock cable? This is from the Monster Cable website:

i don't think there are any iPod cases thin enough to fit in the dock. I assume they just mean the cable with the dock connector on the end that you would plug into the dock.


The only solution i could see to using the dock and a case would be to buy a second dock and put on the dock cover for the thicker 40GB iPod (assuming you have one of the thinner ones) and that way you have some extra room. Even then, it'd have to be a fairly thin case.

I don't think I got one of these with my iPod (new 20gig). Can I buy one from the Apple store?

if not that, then what do you use to plug the dock into the computer? i'm just talking about the cable that comes with every iPod to connect the dock to the computer. It can also plug directly into the bottom of the iPod
