I have a nice new display and want to do some gaming. The ATI 9000 that came with my Mac just isn't cutting it. Will I see a speed improvement if I where to install a 9800? Is my mac fast enough to benefit?

Any help would be appreciated..

xlr8yourmac.com posted about the ATI 9600 Pro on the MDD... I believe that the 9800 Pro is overkill...

that may be true, but show me where I can buy a retail 9600 that is designed to work in a G4, I'll go ahead and do it right now. I don't want an ADC connector, so the OEM card is no good to me. Thanks for the reply.

I reviewed the Radeon 9800 Pro on a MDD dual 1.25 GHz. It was certainly not overkill.

Thanks for the link! Looks like I'm in for a major speed boost over the stock 9000pro that I'm running now. It's the exact system that I'm running too.
