Well I want to purchase a iSight this january but with my setup I see a potential problem.

Try and visualize this...

I have my LCD to which I will mount the iSight right infront of my G5 which is sideways (a pretty efficient way of putting the equipment I've found). Atop of the G5 sitting on the handles is the centre channel for my sound system; what will be the conflict between the microphone of the iSight and the speaker, they will be roughly 5 inches away from each other (isight in front and below)?

I really want to have the iSight mounted on my screen so I can look at the people I talk to and the only place for the centre channel to go and still be in ... the center is up.

Thanks in advance!
Yose.

I have an isight atop a 20in cinema display with the center channel of my logitech z680s mounted to the wall approx 1.5 feet from the isight. I set the speakers to stereo when i use the isight, but still get complaints of echos. I think the ideal setup would be smaller speakers mounted well below the isight (like apple pro, or JBl creature speakers). As soon as I get a TV, the logitechs are moving out and some smaller speakers are coming in. Hopefully with that setup I can chat without the use headphones.
