Hello all,
I installed a 16mb ATI Rage 128 PCI card on my old PowerMac 7600, just to play around with. I installed 4x4 Evo 2, but it says it doesn't see a 3d card installed, yet the ATI display control panel does, so does Apple system profiler...any ideas? I've tried running just OS 9.2.2 extensions, etc, no dice.
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Hey Tom,
I also have a 7600 I play around with, and I've installed a Radeon 7000 that has some kick to it for a PCI graphic card. I don't know if it'll run Evo, though. Did you check the minimum system quals for the game?
The 7600 is a great machine!

I actually had the game running a few weeks ago when I first installed the card, and it ran fine, sure, graphics were turned down and all, but it ran ok, I could actually drive. Besides, I'm used to a Rev. C iMac with a whopping 6 mb of Vram, having 16mb to work with was like a dream come true, albeit short lived. Anyway, I have removed the card and tossed any software that was installed for it, and I am going to try again from scratch...wish me luck.
Tom
