CNN is citing this Linux-based system (via BestBuy, etc.) as a backup and serving solution:

Of course tech info via CNN is kinda weak.

What sort of potential does this headless item have for backup, server applications? What sort of reliability do these guy have a rep for?

There was a story about this on Slashdot a couple days ago.

For an all-in-one solution, not bad, if a bit pricey (and PC only). However, I can do better for less - and of course have Mac compatibility, too.
