So, yeah.... I have my iPod, my iSight, and 2 firewire enclosures plugged into this hub. All work fine when plugged directly into the computer. The hub is a powered hub, one of these:

The green LED on the front comes on (good sign), but no mounting drives or ipods. The weird part, is that the hub supplies enough power to charge my pod to completion, and turn on my isight (jsut the green LED, no video).

I also swapped it with a FW cable that I know works.

Has anyone had problems with this hub before, or do I just have a defector?

I'm having the same problem with this hub, I have attached it to an ipod and 2 powered drives (LaCie D2 DVD-RW & Freecom CD-RW). It won't show those drives with the ipod attached, but charges the ipod.

Very frustrating, I called applecare who seemed to focus on the fact i was running 10.3.3. and who suggested i contact belkin ! I may go back to 10.3.1 and see if its okay.
