Was very excited about the rumors prior, as I've been wanting to buy one for my girlfriend for her birthday. Was all set when Job's talked about the low-end (cheaper) MP3 market. I may buy (have to see it first..), but I really don't understand the price tag...
You'll look at it in the store, sales rep will say how nice and compact it is... Then say for $50 dollars you could get 3.5 times as much more storage if you get the 15Gig...
I understand this strategy as it gets people in the stores to look at the entry level, then move up to the more expensive iPods. Bait and upgrade.
Just don't understand how this still competes "with the sub $100 MP3 players? Apple should have priced it at $150.
(my too overpriced, even before I see it rant is now over, feel free to arue my point of view, maybe you can convince to purchase them later when they come out..)
