Can you reset the printer ink levels? I have an HP 5550. I refilled the ink cartridges when they got low, however, the utility still shows the previous ink levels.

Now my black cartridge is down to 0 but I know it is full of ink. I can't print anything! I don't want to buy another cartridge, that's why I'm refilling in the first place.

Any thoughts???

For the cost of refilling your HP ink cats ONCE you can get a excellent printer from Canon that works like it should.

Did you remove the cartridge from the printer when you refilled it? That might trick the printer into seeing the cartridge as a new one.
