I am finally going to get an iPod (10GB) from school for a good discount.
I also am Interested in the voice recorder because I want to record lectures.
I was just wondering in terms of sound clarity, how does it compar with a typical digital voice recorder out there?

Is it acceptable to be used to record lectures?
my class size is pretty big, ranging from 300 - 2000 people.

Thanx

Get Griffin's instead. Why? It has an audio-in so you can use your own mic. Why not? It's from Griffin, which means you'll likely have to wait till March before it's available.

With Belkin's, you're limited to a rather cheap mic, which I think will do a better job recording the rustling paper around you than your prof's voice.
