I work for a company that is about to pull off a meeting in two differnet locations. We would like to set up a video link between the 2 locations so some of the speakers, etc could be broadcast from one site to the other & vice-versa. There are about 3000 people total, which will break down to 1700 at one location & 1300 at another. As of right now, they are talking about bringing in a "broadcasting truck" to set up an uplink & downlink to do that. What I would like to suggest is using the 2 macs that we have (everyone else uses Windows) to set up an iSight/Ichat link. Would the isight work in this kind of situation? I would like to be able to get some "shots of the corwds" to send back & forth & not just focus on 1 person. Would the isight be able to handle this? Also, how does it work over a DSL Line (We have a T1 at one facility, but only a DSL at the other)
Also, what about the audio? would you be able to hear the guest speakers over the isight, or is that pushing the capabilites a bit too much
