Custom Start and Stop Times on iPod

Is it possible to retain the custom start and stop times I have created in iTunes once the songs have been copied to the iPod? Is there perhaps some third-party software to accomplish this?

No third party apps are needed. iPod will recognize the start/stop times set in iTunes.
