Hi, everyone.

Here's my problem:

I have a Lexmark Optra S 1650 printer. It's set up and it prints. However, whenever I send it a print job, it will print the first page and right after it will print a strange "trailer". So if I had a 3 page document, it will print the first page, then the trailer, print the second page, then another trailer, etc. So when it's done there will be 6 pages: the 3 page document and 3 trailers.

This "trailer" has my login name printed in large letters at the top. Underneath it is my computer's name. Near the bottom it says:

lpd: Job trailer
date:

I have no idea why it does this. It's wasting my time and precious paper... I have searched through as many printing options as I could find.

So here's my setup:

Computer: iMac 1.25GHz
OS: Panther 10.3.2
Printer: Lexmark Optra S 1650

The printer is connected to the printer port on a SMC7004FW Barricade router. My iMac is connected to the router through Ethernet.

I set the printer up through the Printer Setup Utility and I used IP Printing with the printer type LDP/LPR. (If that makes a difference)

If anyone could help, that would be great. I really would like it to stop the trailers.
