I'm trying to buy an ATI 9000 card and it seems everyone is backordered.

Does this mean ATI is coming out with a new card - or simply on a run on demand?

Thanks.

eBay.

Radeon 8500 is faster and about $120-$140 on eBay. The 9000 is a bit less, $100-$120 usually. Just make SURE you're getting a Mac version.

On Macs, both cards are roughly equivalent, so it really comes down to whether or not you need an ADC connector. The 9000 has it, the 8500 doesn't, but does have SVideo out.
