I am looking to purchase a multifunction printer for our business, but am having a hard time finding Mac-oriented reviews. I have found plenty of reviews of the machines overall on C|Net and PC Magazine, but they don't spend much time mentioning how well the software works on a Mac. Macworld and MacAddict both have review sections on their web sites that are hard to search. If it helps, I am looking at the Brother 8420 (monocrome laser) and the HP Officejet 7130 (color ink).

Multifunction printers for the Mac have terrible software that is why. HP's are really bad, the only other option is Epson and I haven't heard much good about them either.

For a laser MFC, about your only option is Brother, and they're not that great (for MFCs). Dedicated peripherals will give you a much better experience.
