What is the best sub-300 US$ Display for a new G4?
P.S. It can be a CRT

After a month with an NEC FP2141SB monitor, I would recommend this:
19" NEC CRT

Ok...
17" Nec CRT
At this point you can't get a quality LCD for $300 or less.

i have a nec multisync fp912sb...outstanding monitor. i got mine for $250. its a 19" crt with an outstanding picture. its pretty much the same as the fe990 that davidflas recommends, its just you're not paying more money for the mitsubishi name.
