new apple bt mouse can click but not move

	this is very strange. i received my new apple bluetooth mouse today. i setup the device and it worked perfectly. i used it up until around 30 minutes ago, when i launched garageband and i clicked something and the mouse stopped working. after a while of troubleshooting, i noticed that the mouse will click. you can cmd+click and a menu pops up. but the mouse will not go anywhere. very bizarre! i guess a call to apple is in order? any ideas?
