Hi all,
Okay, so I did something stupid. I flashed the firmware in my ComputerGeeks.com dual-drive FW enclosure (FW911 chipset, two drives in one large beige 3.5" enclosure) using an OWC updater.
This worked, except that now the enclosure doesn't see both drives anymore. They're both Samsung 5400rpm 120gig drives, one set as master, the other slave. It sees the master (no matter how it's cabled/jumpered) fine, but never two drives at once.
Anybody have a firmware file (.bin I think) for this enclosure? I have looked around for the original box/CD but haven't located either in the cavernous basement. I'm assuming if I re-upload the original firmware, I can get back the dual-drive functionality. If I can't find a copy of the original firmware, I'm thinking perhaps I can take apart the enclosure and somehow reset the board to restore the original flash firmware (this seems highly unlikely though...this ain't a PowerBook!).
