I've got a 2G Refurb 10Gig iPod that I bought this past September. However, that past few days my 'pod's battery life has seemed a little anemic. I've not really timed the battery life but it has seemed diminished. My question where should my battery life be to justify (AND be taken seriously) turning it in to AppleCare? What should my Battery life be anyway?

My pod is still under AppleCare so I'm not to concerned but would like to get it fixed.

Thanks in advance!

This is pretty vague. What does "anemic" mean?

Say originally battery life is 10 hours. Then, after 2 years, it's now 8.5 hours. Should you turn it in? IMO no, because the battery's still good... turn it in when battery life is an hour (the battery WILL do this after 3 or 4 years). When your battery goes bad, you will KNOW it.

If it is annoying you... turn it in. I brought mine in 3 days before the warantee was up and got a brand new 5 gig pod... because the battery was completely flushed.

When I brought my 3G 10 gig in the apple tech said anything around 6.5 hours or less gets replaced. Mine had been lasting 2 hours max.
