I have an Powershot S40, all the latest updates for X, and Image Capture and iPhoto won't read my camera. It did the night before, which leads me to believe it was something I installed. The only two things I can think of are Palm Desktop and this iMovie plug-in. I tried deleting those preferences to see if that was it, but nothing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Try a new cable to connect the camera with, and try it on a different computer, too.
