Well, it would seem that the playcounts are copied over to the iPod as well as the music. My thing is, why doesn't the play count increase after you've listened to a song on the iPod? I could have sworn this was one of the features. Take a song that you've listened to 1 time on iTunes, listen to that song 5 more times on iPod, and when synced both versions are now at 6. DId i just make up this lovely feature in my head?

Nope, that's how it works. The only way it won't update is if you have to reset your iPod.

if you have your ipod sync manually, the play counts won't upgrade neither.

Found it. Can't check the play count on the iPod itself, but it does sync the numbers when connected to iTunes. Just didn't work right away...for some reason. Today my iPod (after being on hold for a couple mins) gave me a completely blank, but lighted screen. Still clicked when i touched the buttons and wheel, but nothing happening. I reset it, and everything seems fine. Any clues? (sorry for getting off the original topic)
