I got my new 20 Gig ipod yesterday. I am going to keep it connected to my stereo. Therefore, it will sit in the dock 80% of the time. Will this hurt the iPod to stay connected to a power source? Thanks

doubtful it would do anything. it knows when its charged, which leads me to assume that it would cause no troubs as far as battery life is concerned.

Sooo, i take my iPod out of the dock a couple times a day. I usually use it for a total of an hour a day (maybe more). Then i come back home and put it on the dock. This article is very technical, but from what i understand...what i'm doing is better than fully discharging all the time. The thing i didn't get from the article is whether it was ok to leave on the charger (dock) and after it's been fully charged. And i didn't know whether that damn "charged" screen was ever going to burn into my screen. Any ideas?
