I have a wireless network set up in my room and have a question about Apple's base station. I presently have the Netgear 802.11g router which works great. I recently bought a ReplayTV, which is essentially like a TiVo.

In order to update the shows and such, it requires an internet connection through its ethernet port in the back of the unit. Because I am already using a Netgear to route the Cable signal could I employ the Airport station to RECEIVE the signal, and redistribute it OUT into the hardwired ethernet port?

I guess I always envisioned the unit doing the opposite... taking the signal IN from the ethernet port, and broadcasting a signal. I'm asking if the opposite applies too.

^ Trying to essentially do this.
