Several phones, including the popular iSync compatible Sony Ericsson T68i, are potentially vulnerable to having their address book stolen without the owner knowing.

Vulnerable phones: Ericsson T68; Sony Ericsson R520m, T68i, T610 and Z1010; and Nokia 6310, 6310i, 7650, 8910 and 8910i.

Bummer because I have a T610, but only turn on Bluetooth when iSyncing.

Bluetooth's range is so short anyway, I don't see it being a huge security flaw.

Pfff, who cares. If someone wants to go to my dentist and call my mom they are more then welcome.

Slashdot has picked this one up, too. Apparently, the issue goes beyond just reading your phonebook/calendar, but potentially someone could delete or alter records.

While most people "wont care," this is still a major faux pas on the part of Nokia (whose phones are the most compromised).

Nokia has released a statement as well... "Turn off bluetooth in public places."
