do a search. then get podmanager or ipodrip off versiontracker. there are also scripts that can do this for you. you didnt think this would be already posted? the search button is your friend.
if you really want to get ghetto with it, you can dl cocktail or tinkertool, and make invisible files visible, on the ipod (in the finder) is an invisible folder "ipod_control" (or something like that) and in there is music. i made aliases of all the music files and put in a visible folder on the ipod.
if you time out on ipod rip, you can delete the prefs
but you didnt hear that from me.
