All as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as Love.

The IOGEAR one would look nicer with an iBook!
Personally I can only get on with MS or Logitech mice, the little "portable" ones may be a bit smaller but they get swallowed by my hand and are unusable. See if you have have a sly fondle of Mr mouse before you buy him.

I'm a big fan of the Kensington PocketMouse Pro (love that retractable wire!). It also comes in a wirelessmodel, but I've never used it - didn't want yet another thing I had to recharge.

Hmm... the SE version of the Pocketmouse looks pretty good... I can't find a good price for the IOGear one though (it matches more). BUT HEY, I have a Bondi that I've always loved the color of...
Thanks for the help! (plus any more suggestions... I like the wireless option a lot... anything with more than two buttons?)

I use a macally iOptinet and a white icemouse.
Both nice and handy but no bells and whistles features.

It's perfect to roll up the cord, toss it in a backpack and go. Only mouse I use on my iBook.

I also need a new mouse to use with my 17" Al, so:
I like the kensignton studio mouse, but I have read only problems about it and even worst, it feels very cheap, the Al does not deserves that.
Logitech are not really for me.
M$, err, well, this one looks cool http://21st-century-home.co.uk/elect...image/shop.htm worth it? (40€ -> $51 )
Apple ProMouse, well, I like the original Pro Mouse over the white Pro Mouse, but if I want wireless, the only option is the white one.
No little-mini mouses
Thanks.

I have tried three Kensington PocketMouse Pro wireless and have not gotten any of them to work, with either my PB 17 GB, a Linux box, nor a Win98 box.
I also have the larger Kensington Pilot Mouse Optical wireless which works like a charm in all 3, but it is big and the cord/dongle is a pain.
So I will wait for the Belkin BT

I am in love with the Logitech MX-series. I had an MX500 for some time but now I have the Cordless Desktop MX Duo set, which includes an MX700 mouse and a wireless Elite keyboard. Wow, these are awesome! I wouldn't recommend it for a laptop, since it requires the separate base station for the mouse, but do consider the MX500 if you're not put off by the large number of buttons or the right-handedness of it. Yes, it has what some would consider to be an excessive amount of buttons - eight, including the scroll click. But I have a use for them all. The three that are in the center near the scroll wheel are for Expose, the two on the left side are for back and forward, and scroll-clicking opens a new tab. If you get one, get the MX500, which is corded. But there's also the five button MX310 and the four button MX300. All of Logitech's MX series is good, I have always loved using them. They look good too. The only problem is their software which could be much better. MS and Kensington both have the option to use application-specific commands. So if you're in the Finder, you might program your buttons differently than if you're in a browser, or in iTunes. Logitech can't do that.
