Hi,
i have a Lexmark z65 and it wont turn off, it wont print, the lights (power, 1st paper tray, 2nd paper tray) flash in this order: All on, pwr on but trays off, pwr on but trays DIM, pwr and trays on, pwr on but trays DIM, pwr and trays on, pwr on and trays off. in that order over and over again. i cant get it to do anything else. also when i open the door to get to the ink, the ink wont go toward the center. and the gears of the printer keep rolling forward, then backward, then stops.
It did this after printing page 6 of a 12 page document, so I feel like something must have happened (although I was sitting right next to it, so it must have been subtle). Anyway, all I can get from the Lexmark support page are misaligned cartridge help and paper jam help, and I have followed steps for fixing both of those.
Any ideas or experiences? I found a guy on some random board who had the same problem last December, but there were no replies to his post.
I'm running Panther on an Al Powerbook.
