I'm trying to install an HP deskjet 3650 (3600 series) on a G4 running Jaguar and I keep running into permissions issues, even though I'm installing it as the admin. the exact error I'm getting is:

error creating folder: 1008:9, -5000 access denied error

the hp vise installer won't let me change (or even see) where the files are trying to install. any ideas?

Have you tried running your disk utility to correct permissions?
