Is iSync detecting the p900 and registering it as a device (assuming you have isync up and running)?

I have had many frustrations with Bluetooth between different computers, phones, ear pieces etc. The only (very unscientific) way that I have conquered them is to pair the device both ways. That is, initiate a pairing from the phone to the computer, and then do it the other way around. Why this should work I have absolutely no idea.
