i was able to sync my computer and my Z600 phone, however, the numbers went into the phone's memory and not onto the SIM chip. Browsing thru the menu's, i can't seem to find a way to transfer the numbers onto the SIM (unless i manually enter them).

Does anyone know how to transfer #'s onto a SIM?
Also, does a benefit exist for having it on the SIM and not the Phone Memory?

I've been running a Sony Ericsson & Apple setup for over a year now, first with a T68i and now with a Z600. The phone memory is MUCH larger than the SIM so it makes sense to use that. The only advantage to having your numbers on the SIM is if you need to transfer your card to another phone but I prefer to be able to buy a "pay as you go" SIM when I'm abroad and still keep the same numbers. If you still want to use the SIM, however, there's an option under "phone book / advanced" to copy all to SIM. I think there's space for 150 numbers on the SIM as opposed to 512 on the phone.

Hope this helps

I don't have a Z600, but if it's similar to the T620, go into Menu > Phonebook > Advanced > Copy all to SIM.

iSync won't go directly to SIM. What I do is keep the numbers on the phone, then once a month or so I'll copy the numbers to the SIM in the off-chance I'm in the boonies and my T610 loses its memory, which it has never done.
