I thought this many times, but with the release of the iPod Mini it's time for macnn.com to make a iPod/iTunes Forum....
A place for the music lovers to chat away....
Sure we can post here, but the iPod is the most important Apple product in years, it's changing the way we do music and if you live in NYC like me, the way we look at each other walking down the street.
When you see that white cord to the headphones, you give a little nod.
Anyway, just a thought. I don't think the iPod should have to be grouped in with printers any more.

I have asked for this...as have many others...Apparently the view is that "the ipod is just another peripheral"...
Yeh...right....just another peripheral...

There's been a poll up for the last week about this....and it cleary shows the majority of the members want an iPod forum. Although I don't even think the Mod's are paying attention to it...or have chimed in about the matter. I fail to see a problem with creating one, yet I see a lot of reasons for creating one.

no, it doesn't. the poll only shows that the majority of people who voted in the poll want a new forum.

You'll notice I didn't say the majority of the WHOLE FORUM...I said the majority of the members, and yes...of the members that voted, wanted it!
Must everything be a contest with you people....sheesh, I feel like I'm in middle school again!

Until they create an iPod forum here, check out the one on ipodlounge. Lots of good information over there and a very busy forum. I especially like the in-car solutions section.

Actually, I like what AppleInsider's forums have: a Digital Hub forum which includes all iLife and iPod issues.

I want my Ipod forum (think of the song "I want my MTV") and say it over and over till we get one.
