I'm a yet another victim of the poor instructions that come with the Bluetooth Firmware Updater.

After attempting to run this update, I have killed my Linksys adapter. Previsouly, this adapter worked great with my Sony-Ericson T616 phone, but now it's completely dead. Even the blinking activity light is silent.

So my question is... has anyone had any success getting this adapter to work with Apple's wireless keyboard?

If not, I'll probably just buy the DLink adapter and wash my hands of this mess (instead of wasting time with Apple/Linksys tech support.)

I believe Apple only officially supports the bluetooth keyboard with either Apple's built-in BT or via the (rev. 2) D-Link adapter.
That said, I'm sure it must be at least possible to get it to work with others.
However, I've always been one to follow Apple's suggestions - fewer headaches that way. Pony up for the $45 D-Link module. Works for me.
