belkin's voice recorder is not compatible with the mini.
does anyone have any information on when an iPod mini mic will be available?

and a digression: has anyone used their iPod to record phone conversations? how did you do it?

Probably they won't, because apparently the iPod mini doesn't have the recording circuitry and/or it isn't connected.
