I've got to clear a big bunch of files (at least 3 gb) off of a computer at work running OS 9.

Is OS 9 going to have any trouble recognizing my 3rd gen 10 gb ipod as an external HD? I know it shouldn't but I only have until Tuesday...

It'll work fine, I've done it.

Just be sure it's 9.1 or higher -- 9.0.x didn't include FireWire hard drive drivers.

It's 9.2, and I was almost certain it would be fine, it's just nice to hear someone actually did it.
