Purchased an eMac and digital camera last week and am considering the following for printing, mostly photos: 1. Use our Epson 760 and the software that came with it 4 years ago and run it through os 9. 2. Use the 760, purchase Photoshop Elements 2.0 and go through X. 3.Buy a Canon i860 printer and print with it's software. 4. Buy the i860 and PS Elements. I have read about the Canon drawbacks(print fading, would use Ilford or Epson paper) but also realize the improvements over the 760(resolution, etc.). Any thoughts or ideas to add? A lot of this is new to me. Thanks in advance, Mike

Ya, don't touch an epson:

Never seen a Canon fade, of it does it is dirt cheap enough to print another one.

Why not get the i860 and use iPhoto? I replaced an Epson C80 with the Canon i860 about a month ago and really like it! It prints very nice pics in 8x10 and 4x6 (all i have printed so far), and very nice looking color documents.
