If you have a monthly subscription to audible.com and are willing to agree to a 12 month contract, you can get $100 off an iPod. You have two choices, either the $15/month or $20 per month plan counts.

I've been a subscriber for a while, and I was afraid that if I cancelled my subscription I would lose the books I'd already purchased. But the way it works is that once you have an audible account, you have the account for life. Even if you cancel the monthly plan you keep all your books and you can still buy ala carte.

So today I cancelled my subscription. Then I called J&R music world and signed up for a new subscription--all as part of my existing account. A new iPod Mini is on it's way to me for the low price of $154.83. Not a bad deal if you're already a subscriber.

So if you call Audible first and cancel your subscription, how do you set up a new subscription, all as a part of your existing account? I'm sorry that I don't understand.
It's a great deal and I want to do it.

I called J & R and joined Audible also. The iPod Mini was on order and they said they would ship it to me as soon as they got it in.

I am supposed to get an email from Audible in 24 - 36 hours about my username etc.

This is a great deal.
