I just receive my ipod 20gb, (dont like what it look, had my name on it) I bought it so it would save mb on my ibook, only have 250 song. Is it okay to erase all the song in my itunes library once i transfer my song to my ipod? Can I still keep adding new song on my ipod even though I transfer all my song already?

You will have to sync the songs manually. If you don't then whenever you connect your iPod, iTunes will erase what is on the iPod and add the songs that are in your library.
