I've got an old 15" Apple CRT monitor which doesn't have the standard VGA adapter.

What kind of adapter do I need to use it with a VGA input on my card?

Thanks.

this might be helpful.

http://www.taxan.co.uk/mac.htm

i don't remember the name of the adapter you need (since it was always included with the computer), although do have semi-fond memories of using them in times past. perhaps calling an apple store or apple support is in order.

Your best bet is to find one of the plug adapters that shipped with all blue and white G3's, all PowerBook G3's, and most Power Mac G4's.

They are plentiful on eBay, going for about $5. Here's one (overpriced, but with a great picture.) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=25436

Note that you can only use the monitor if it is a multiple scan model -- if it's fixed frequency, the PC will not be able to use it!

Perhaps the Mac connect adapter from Griffin Technology?

It might not be the cheapest solution, but it will almost certain it will resolve your problem.

Although it's 16 dollars (with another eight for shipping) I ordered the Griffin part. I didn't want to go down the ebay lane; gotten burned a few times.

Thanks for all your suggestions.
Can't wait to use two monitors with Final Cut Pro!
