Hi,
Has anyone tried the above combination to utilize the iPod as portable storage? Specifically, I'd like to know:
1) is transfer rate good
2) battery life
3) is there LCD indication of the transfer status?
4) what other portable storage solutions are there?
Many thanks,
kymikai

1. No, it's barely USB transfer speeds.
2. Poor, since it does take so long to transfer songs, it drains the iPod's battery unecessarily.
3. Yes. The iPod shows the transfer status.
4. None yet, unfortunately. I still take my iBook along for now.
