seems like the best deal. i'm looking for a 200 to 250GB external hard drive for my G5. this seems to be the cheapest.... on Apple's site, too!

what do you suggest for the best price=performance?

Normally I'd suggest buying the drive and the case separately, because you can often save $50 or more over buying a pre-assembled external hard drive. But in this case, go with that drive. 250 GB hard drives are a bit over $200 on NewEgg, and a standard Firewire case costs $40. That hard drive's case looks pretty nice, definitely better than a cheap plastic one.
